Order to cancel GST registration- CBIC had said that GST Registration should be canceled for traders who do not file returns under section 29 of CGST. Preparations are being taken by the government to take very strict steps at this time and in this, GST can be canceled for all those businessmen who have not filed GST returns.

E-way bill will be closed for those who do not file returns more than two or more times- Earlier, the government has also directed that those who have not filed GST returns more than two or more times, generate E-way bill Be discontinued. That is, the first generated e-way bill will be closed. Secondly, if they do not fill GST return, then their registration will also be canceled.

Indirect Tax Department has said that this entire action has to be done by 25 November. That is, by November 25, massive tax notices will be sent and during this time large-scale registrations will also be canceled.

20% GST registered businessmen do not fill returns- At present, there are around 1.20 crore GST registrations in the country, out of which about 20% are non-filers. That is, they do not file GST returns.
